HOW I SPENT MY LAST HOLIDAY
Story by- BEJIDE OLUWASEUN ADENISINMI adejass the proud blogger
Holiday could mean different thing to different set of people, to me it a time I can flex my life, many people use their holiday to enjoy but I want to use mine to make some cash, before I resume back to campus. My name is adejass am going to be telling you the story about how I spent my last holiday. Am 23 years old department of theatre art at Bennett University. All the characters and deeds in this story might not be entirely true.
I received a call from my mother (mama ade) that I should head straight to the village ayedun a few kilometers from our state with population of few hundreds. I should help my grandmother with some of the chores also she misses me alot. From all the five children of Mr & Mrs Williams odukoya, his only me that do normally pay visit to the village, the rest sees as “not cool “ and prefer to bring grandmother to the city anything they wish to see her. I love the life in the village. I arrived in the village by evening the next day super was already waiting for me like we all know that village people eat their dinner pretty early. After I had a bowl full of pounded yam and vegetable soup with big better bush meat. I calm it down with a strong palm – wine.
Past years anytime I visit the village always try to make friends and out of all my friends the one I like most is ADAJI because he a fast thinker by reputation his a stubborn trouble maker. Abadi was brought before the village head (baale) for a case when he took a dress of a man he hung when he was bathing, which he said serve as a punishment for abusing him.
By nigh fall, at the Village square everyone has already gathered to have a nice time singing dancing and having nice time we yoruba called it EYE OSUPA. I was looking for service so to snap chat with bae, folake in the city because she always complain that I do not use to call her anytime am in the village. So I have to climb a tree where people believe the house of 3G network, on getting to the top of the tree and looked forward I NOTICED SOMETHING....
